Colonial Life, International Paper fund Transitions Youth Aftercare Program

Transitions Homeless Center has received several significant grants that will help fund an aftercare program for its youth program.

International Paper and Colonial Life recently announced grants of $15,000 each, according to Transitions Vice President of Advancement Elizabeth Igleheart.

“These funds will help us establish our Youth Program Aftercare Program,” said Igleheart. “This will allow our staff and our case manager, Alysha McConnell, to monitor progress, provide resources, help with navigation and to maintain a supportive relationship with youth for up to a year after they have graduated from the program, which we believe will lead to even greater sustained success.”
